If you are new to the Christian community on the web, you
might be surprised at the array of resources available. We encourage
you to get connected to the community, be uplifted and grow!
Visit the portals we have listed below. You are sure to find
what you are looking for and some things you didn't know existed! If
we missed any portals send our webmaster
an e-mail and we'll add it to the list.
You'll find resources like Bible studies, daily devotionals,
chat, e-mail groups, discussion boards & forums, search
engines, job banks, 'Bible in a year' plans, e-mail greetings,
Christian merchandise (books, music & gifts) and prayer
chains.
Most ministries, including this one, are user supported.
They freely make their content available and request a
donation.
It is not always feasible to support every ministry you would like to.
A good rule of thumb is to financially support your local
church first. Then identify the ministries that have blessed
you and ask the Lord which ones He would have you become
involved in. Other ways to help: pray for them, tell others
about them and volunteer your time and
talents.
A few words of caution:
It's not a good idea to give too much personal information
when talking to strangers in chat rooms, discussion forums
and the like. People are not always who they say they
are.
Many people sign up for a Hotmail or
Yahoo e-mail address to use for this type of communication
and save their personal e-mail address for friends and
family. Use a screen name instead of your real name and do
not tell people where you live and work. Protect your
privacy.
Do not believe everything you read. If something sounds
too good to be true, it usually is. Do your research, check with
your church leaders and compare it to what the Bible
says.
If you have a local Christian radio station in your area,
send your state, city and the station (number and AM/FM) to
our webmaster.
If there is enough interest we will post a listing.
If you don't have a local Christian station, check out one
of our
supporters: Vertical
Radio!
For a softer sound, KLVV streams content 24 hours a day. They
offer a great mix of contemporary Christian music and praise
& worship. You can also listen to preaching by the likes of
James Dobson and Chuck Swindoll. The online playlist shows what's
been playing so you know the artist and the
song. Christian Pirate
Radio has seven different channels; including gospel and a channel just for kids: Programs like
Adventures in Odyssey and music.
Interview With God.com shows evangelical
movies: God is light, Psalm 23, The Lord's Prayer &
Interview With Jesus.
"The Four Spiritual Laws" in 67
languages. Do you have a friend that you
would like to share the Gospel with, but they don't
speak English? Check their home page for more resources in many different
languages!
Bible
Places features photographs and descriptions of sites in
Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey and Greece with an emphasis on
