You are special and we want to honor you as you have honored our Lord. Far too many times those that sit in the shadows behind their computers are forgotten. Today is June 22, 2003. This is the day I have chosen to honor all Christian Web Masters.

If you have web masters would you tell them how special they are to you? I never had a web site until I began this ministry and I didn’t have a clue as to what it takes to keep everything up and running smoothly. Pondering my own experience is what prompted me to ask my web masters to create this award. You deserve it and they made it for you “With Love and Appreciation”

In Honor of The Web Masters & Ministry Staff of The Cornerstone Connection Magazine

When I began this ministry last August I was fortunate enough to have Bonnie White as the web master. She constructed the site and took great care of everything for several months. She worked full time for a large firm and in her spare time she built The Cornerstone Connection site. Countless hours and days of preparation went into everything we did. Bonnie’s job came to a close subsequently due to mostly contract work. God supplied her with a wonderful position at a medical firm and she had no choice other than to resign as our web master in February 2003. I will be forever grateful to her for all the hours she spent putting together a web site that is truly for the Glory of the Lord. She did it all for Him. When I was so concerned that I would lose her because I wasn’t able to pay her she said, “Dry your tears and don’t give it another thought. I’m not doing this for you or myself, I am doing it for God.” Bonnie will remain a part of this ministry as our consultant and my special friend.

At this juncture I simply prayed and asked God to provide the web masters “HE” wanted.

John came aboard once a prayer request was sent out searching for a web master. He spent several weeks with us. John is the web master of several sites and holds a position with The Christian Web Masters Association. I knew he was a very busy man and I prayed about it and decided I didn’t want to add to his workload since he’s involved in other ministry work as well; one, which I believe, deserves to be mentioned. He builds a type of receiver and takes them to Mexico to enable others to hear the gospel from radio or perhaps TV. He’s a busy man and a very talented one. John would work very hard for us and did a marvelous job and did it willingly....I do want to clear up a small matter…After prayer and concern about John's workload, I felt it was best to relieve him of his duties. Some may feel it was unfair for me to replace John. He is very well liked in the web-world but all web masters have their own style. That’s what makes all of you so unique. I suppose our styles just didn’t coincide with what I felt God wanted me to do for The Cornerstone and keep John from his other Christian duties. It wasn’t personal, just professional. I thank you John for all your hard work for the site and I will always appreciate and respect you.

Gail also answered the request for web master and said she would help in any way she could. She had previously taken my prayer chain to see that those requests were taken care of. She knew that was something I struggled with daily because that ministry was and still is so very important to me. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep up with all my duties once I began the magazine. I knew Gail was the one to take the prayer chain, as I had spent almost every waking hour seeking God as to what to do. Wasn’t long before she and Mr. Cantral were working on the site together. They made a lot of progress and when Mr. Cantral was no longer with us, it was quite obvious we had to have another web master to join Gail. It’s impossible to maintain a site the size of ours with just one person at the keyboard- especially since Mrs. Wilkins is in charge of other sites and a large prayer ministry- Cambridge Dove. We just agreed in prayer and knew that God would provide the person of "His" choosing. This site has always belonged to God. He is the boss and we are "HIS "employees. Now we wait and let God speak to the person’s heart that is to help.

Mrs. Wilkins continued to maintain the site on her own and would contact Bonnie if she needed assistance. Bonnie knew we were struggling and tried to help answer questions, etc. I have to mention that I’ve never met anyone like Gail. We are so much alike it’s scary! (Smile)! She just knows what I want and does it and being in this type of accord is a precious gift God has given to Gail and me. I thank you Gail for everything you do for me and for our Lord. I don’t think I’ve ever known anyone with an injury from a fall and crawls to the computer to make sure all of you have a new article to read the next day. She is my friend and beloved sister in Christ and I just love her so much and thank you is such a trivial word in some instances. You are special Gail!

Prayer is the answer to all our questions and concerns, aren’t they? We knew of a man that was very talented and loved the Lord with all his heart but would he have the time to even consider joining us? I had heard about him and knew that he had a very caring heart for others. Gail contacted him for me and he agreed to take a look at the site. The rest is history… Mr. Bruce Prescott is now our new web master and we are so honored to have him. It is very pleasing to see our web masters so content working together. Bruce was once a professional wrestler and weightlifter , just in case you're wondering where the title Ironman comes from. He has a special love for people and most definitely for God. He is web master over several sites and rebuilds computers for others. He also spends six-hours every day taking care of his mother that is in her 90's. I don't know how he keeps up with everything, but never once have I heard him complain. He is a special person and I feel very grateful that he would take on this task at the Cornerstone. God has blessed me with the very best web masters and ministry staff. It is because of our precious Lord that The Cornerstone Connection exists and my prayer is that you see "Jesus" in something we have done when you visit the site.
